PDF splitter
Extract page ranges from a PDF into separate documents. Preview the pages, choose your ranges, and download the resulting PDFs together in a ZIP.
Choose your PDF
Your PDF stays on your device. Previews and splitting happen locally in your browser.
One PDF, up to 200 MB. Selecting another PDF replaces the current file and ranges.
Scroll horizontally to preview every page.
Output page ranges
Each row creates one PDF. For example, add 1–10 and 11–20 for two separate PDFs. For a single page, use the same start and end. Ranges may overlap; pages outside your ranges are omitted.
About splitting
Up to 100 ranges are supported. Pages retain their original order, size, and rotation. Output PDFs are named file1.pdf, file2.pdf, and so on, in range order. The ZIP is named utilizone-split-pdf-DD-MM-YYYY-hh-mm-ss.zip using your local date and time when you click Split. Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first. Document-level bookmarks, signatures, and interactive form functionality are not preserved.
Uses the open-source PDF.js, pdf-lib, and JSZip libraries.
PDF Merger →Example: split a 20-page PDF
Enter one range for pages 1–10 and another for pages 11–20. The ZIP contains file1.pdf with the first range and file2.pdf with the second. Page numbers refer to their position in the PDF, which may differ from printed page labels.
